Fred Roy Harris (born November 13, 1930) is an American former politician who served as a U.S. senator from Oklahoma from 1964 to 1973. [1] Born in Walters, Oklahoma, Harris was elected to the Oklahoma Senate after graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
