Steve Timmons is a former U.S. volleyball player who won three Olympic medals, two of them gold, in 1984 and 1988. He also played professionally in Italy and won the 1986 World Championship with the U.S. team.
Timmons led the U.S. to Olympic gold medals in both 1984 and 1988, being named most valuable player of the 1984 Olympic team. Between Olympics, he helped the U.S. win the 1986 World Championship and the 1985 World Cup.
