Nach der Auflösung der Band The Seekers formierte Keith Potger mit Eve Graham (* 13. April 1943), Sally Graham, Laurie Heath, Chris Barrington und dem aus Leipzig stammenden Marty Kristian (* 27. Mai 1947) im Jahr 1969 die erste Formation der New Seekers.
Sally Graham (no relation to Eve) was one of the original members of the New Seekers. She joined the group in 1969 at the age of 22, fresh from the Young Generation Dancers, staying with the New Seekers just long enough to appear on their début album.
Keith Potger, a member of the Seekers, put together the New Seekers in 1969, featuring Laurie Heath, Chris Barrington, Marty Kristian, and Eve Graham and Sally Graham (no relation), the latter of whom was a member of The Young Generation. Potger himself also performed and recorded with the group.
