Careless is the debut album by singer/songwriter Stephen Bishop. It includes two hit singles: "On and On", which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard singles chart, and "Save It for a Rainy Day" which made No. 22. The album itself rose to No. 34 on the Billboard albums chart.

Stephen Bishop's musical epiphany came one day while he, a seventh-grader in his hometown of San Diego, was selling newspapers on a corner.
Released in 1976, Bishop's Grammy-nominated debut album, Careless, featured contributions from Garfunkel, Clapton, and Khan, and yielded a pair of charting singles in "On and On" and "Save It for a Rainy Day."
