  5. Chama Raja Wadiyar X also known as Chama Rajendra Wadiyar X was the ruling Maharaja of Mysore between 1881 and 1894. Chama Raja Wadiyar X was born at the old palace in Mysore on February 22, 1863, as the third son of Sardar Chikka Krishnaraj Urs, of the Bettada-Kote branch of the ruling clan.

  6. Chamarajendra Wadiyar X took official charge of the affairs of Mysore in 1881 and served until he died in 1894. Among his earliest acts was the establishment of the Mysore Representative Assembly, which gave the citizens a democratic forum to voice their concerns.
