Wellingborough School is a co-educational private day school in the market town of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire. It was established in 1595 and is one of the oldest schools in the country. The school today consists of a Prep school (ages 3–10) Senior school (ages 11–16) and a sixth form (ages 16–18).
Tuition fees include all academic fees, texts, books, lunches, personal accident insurance, and public examination fees. Lunch costs are annualised at £908 for the year. Wellingborough School is set in 45 acres of land, located in the heart of the Northamptonshire town of Wellingborough. We offer 5 bus routes reaching across Northamptonshire and further, as well as Wellingborough Train Station being only 5 minutes away with direct trains from London.
Admissions Process. At Wellingborough School we provide children and young adults with a world of opportunity. Our main points of entry are Nursery, Reception, Years 3, 7 & Sixth Form. We also welcome new joiners at all entry points throughout the School, adding to the richness of our community.
Originally founded in 1595 as a boys’ school, Wellingborough School has a long and distinguished history with strong roots in the local community.
