Benson is a member of The Raconteurs, a collaboration with Jack White, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler. Benson and White co-write the songs. The group's debut album, Broken Boy Soldiers, was released in the US on May 16, 2006, with "Steady, As She Goes" as the first single.

Brendan Benson (born November 14, 1970 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is an American musician and singer-songwriter best known for his extensive solo career and as co-frontman of the Raconteurs.
