Susana, Lady Walton MBE (30 August 1926 – 21 March 2010), born Susana Valeria Rosa Maria Gil Passo, was the Argentinian wife of the British composer Sir William Walton (1902–1983). She was a writer and the creator of the gardens of La Mortella on the island of Ischia , Italy.
La Mortella was open to the public in 1991: Susana transformed the property into a perennial monument to the genius and the personality of her husband, creating the ‘Fondazione William Walton’, which has the two objectives of promoting the culture of music and caring for the garden.
