Everybody Hollerin' Goat is an album by the American musician Othar Turner, released in 1998. He is credited with the Rising Star Fife and Drum Band. Turner was 90 when he recorded the album. The title refers to Turner's barbecued goat parties.
Dickinson produced two records on Otha Turner, Everybody Hollerin' Goat and From Senegal To Senatobia. [1] In November 2007 Dickinson joined The Black Crowes. His recording debut with the band was on Warpaint in 2008, [2] and he has since appeared on the 2009 Black Crowes release Before the Frost...Until the Freeze. [3] .
Everybody Hollerin’ Goat “Otha was a first- generation blues musician who blew melodies out of a handmade bamboo fife, accompanied by marching snare and bass drums – Mississippi picnic music. I produced his debut album, recorded outside at his farm, bringing Otha’s music and family band to the world.
6. Okt. 2022 · Luther produced Everybody Hollerin’ Goat, the 1998 album Turner recorded with his Rising Star Fife & Drum Band, and would drive him to performances. By then, Dickinson had formed the Allstars with his brother, Cody, and bassist Chris Chew.

Everybody Hollerin' Goat is the closest thing you will every be able to experience of one of the Goat Picnic's Otha Turner would throw yearly at his home in Senatobia, Mississippi. Recorded by Luther Dickinson during his time of studying and playing with Otha and his family, and released as Otha's debut record at 90 y.
