Véra Gibson-Amado, known professionally as Véra Clouzot, (30 December 1913 – 15 December 1960) was a Brazilian-French film actress and screenwriter. She is known for playing Linda in The Wages of Fear (1953), Christina Delassalle in Les Diaboliques (1955), and Lucie in Les Espions (1957).
Véra Clouzot est une actrice et scénariste française d'origine brésilienne, née le 30 décembre 1913 à Rio de Janeiro et morte le 15 décembre 1960 dans le 8 e arrondissement de Paris. Elle a été la première épouse du réalisateur français Henri-Georges Clouzot pendant dix ans, de 1950 à sa mort prématurée en 1960.
Véra Clouzot was the wife of director Henri-Georges Clouzot and starred in his films such as Diabolique and The Wages of Fear. She died of a heart attack in 1960, two weeks before her 47th birthday.
