Andy Corwin At this point, Andy is the veteran of the group — and the only member to have performed with original Limeliters Alex Hassilev and Glenn Yarbrough. Back in the 90’s, he was the long haired, scraggly bass player of “ The Foremen”, a folk music / comedy quartet best remembered for clever and literate political satire.
With their energy and enthusiasm undiminished, current members Andy Corwin, Daniel Boling and Steve Brooks remain as exciting an act as the genre has produced. Now more than ever, the surging vocals, thrilling harmony, and quirky sense of humor of this unique trio continue to earn them their title as… “The Fabulous Limeliters”.
The Limeliters are an American folk music group, formed in July 1959 by Louis Gottlieb (bass), Alex Hassilev (baritone), and Glenn Yarbrough (tenor). The group was active from 1959 until 1965, when they disbanded. After a hiatus of sixteen years Yarbrough, Hassilev, and Gottlieb reunited and began performing as The Limeliters again.
