Alan Ormsby (born December 14, 1943) is an American director, screenwriter, make up artist, actor and author.
Alan Ormsby was a versatile and prolific filmmaker who co-wrote and co-directed zombie horror films with Bob Clark, such as Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things and Dead of Night. He also wrote screenplays for My Bodyguard, Cat People, Mulan and The Substitute, and created the doll Hugo: Man of a Thousand Faces.
