Gregg Alan Rolie (born June 17, 1947) is an American keyboardist, singer and songwriter. Rolie served as lead singer of the bands Santana and Journey – both of which he co-founded. He also helmed rock group The Storm, performed in Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band until 2021, and since 2001 with his Gregg Rolie Band.

24. Nov. 2020 · Gregg Rolie, the keyboardist and vocalist of Journey and Santana, left both bands for different reasons. He quit Journey in 1980 to start a family and pursue solo projects, and he left Santana in 1973 to join Neal Schon in a new hard rock band.
Rolie is a two-time inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having been inducted both as a member of Santana in 1998 and as a member of Journey in 2017.
