Johnson High School. Welcome to the home of the Claudia Taylor ‘Lady Bird’ Johnson Jaguars where we focus on preparing our students to be successful in high school and in their future endeavors. CTJ’s goal is to guide our students towards self-advocacy during these transitional years.
Claudia Taylor "Lady Bird" Johnson High School is a high school in the North East Independent School District in the U.S. state of Texas. It is named after U.S. First Lady Lady Bird Johnson.
Lady Bird beendete ihre Schullaufbahn an der Marshall Senior High School in Marshall und studierte Journalismus und Kunst an der St. Mary’s Episcopal School für Mädchen sowie an der University of Texas at Austin.
After graduating from high school in May 1928, Lady Bird entered the University of Alabama for the summer session, where she took her first journalism course. But, homesick for Texas, she stayed home and did not return for the fall term at Alabama.

For the past four years, I have been the proud principal at the best high school in San Antonio, Claudia Taylor “Lady Bird” Johnson HS. As I enter my 37th year in education as the principal of Johnson HS, I am looking forward to working with the students and families of this community every day.
