- About Mizzou Academy
The University of Missouri High School (MU High School) is a distance-learning K-12 high school administered by the University of Missouri, a public state university located in Columbia, Missouri and the flagship of the University of Missouri System.
Mizzou Academy is a fully online high school that offers high quality coursework and robust resources for students from elementary to high school. It is housed in the University of Missouri’s College of Education & Human Development, which is consistently ranked among the top education colleges in the U.S.
Important Information To Know. The last day to begin a course for the 2023-2024 school year is May 31, 2024. During June and July, students may continue working on their current courses and register for courses for the 2024-2025 school year, which opens August 1, 2024. Summer Intersession is July 1-15, 2024.
In order to earn a high school diploma with the University of Missouri High School, students must complete at least 24 credits in the subject areas listed below. Of those 24 credits, at least 6 (12 courses) must be earned through the University of Missouri High School.
Mizzou Academy offers over 200 courses for elementary through high school learners, with innovative co-teaching partnerships and accreditation. It serves students in all 50 U.S. states and 40+ countries worldwide.
Full-Time Application. Mizzou Academy is proud to offer the Diploma Path with University of Missouri High School. Students can choose where and when they learn, along with customizing their plan of study.
