Shawn Adam Levy (born July 23, 1968) is a Canadian film director, film producer, screenwriter, actor, and founder of 21 Laps Entertainment. He has worked across genres and is perhaps best known as the director of the Night at the Museum film franchise and primary producer of the Netflix series Stranger Things .
Shawn Levy is a Canadian filmmaker who has worked on Stranger Things, Free Guy, Arrival, and many other projects. He was born in Montreal in 1968 and is married with four daughters.
