1. Juli 2010 · by Evan Kepner Thursday, July 1st, 2010. Bassist Harold Cowart died on June 27th in his home. He was 66. Cowart had an impressive musical history. He created one of the most memorable bass lines around, playing on “Judy In Disguise (With Glasses)” with John Fred and His Playboy Band.

This was followed by John Fred & His Playboy Band . With this group he had the US number one hit Judy in Disguise (With Glasses) in 1968 , a parody of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by The Beatles .
