Let's Have A War is a song by the American hardcore punk band Fear that appears as the opening track from their debut album The Record. The song, while never released as a single, is one of the band's biggest hits and has been notably covered by A Perfect Circle, Sacred Reich and From Autumn To Ashes, among others.
The song, co-written by lead singer Lee Ving and lead guitarist Philo Cramer, criticizes war through irony with lyrics like "let's have a war / we could all use the money". The repeat of "there's so many of us" in the lyrics references the growing population.
A live recording of the song appears on the live album Live... For The Record. The song, along with the rest of The Record, was rerecorded for the band's sixth album The Fear Record where it appears as track 4 on the album.
