Sir Thomas Boteler was founded in 1526. For nearly 500 years, we have provided high quality secondary education to the people of Warrington. A brief history. The founder of the school was a medieval Lord of the Manor, born at Bewsey in 1461, and knighted by Henry VII.
At Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School, we have a strong moral purpose to develop the whole child both academically and pastorally because ‘Through God We Care’. We equip them with the skills, knowledge and understanding for lifelong learning in an ever-changing society.
