Primal Fire is a molten chunk of pure fire goodness. It is used in a wide range of high-end recipes. In addition it is also considered the most in demand, and thus, profitable primal for farming.
This Mote of Fire farming guide will show you the places that I use for farming Mote of Fire. There were no major changes to Mote drop rates at Outland, so this guide can be used for Burning Crusade Classic (TBC) and Retail WoW. Primal Fire is created by combining 10 Motes of Fire. These Motes drop from any Fire Elemental in the Outlands and can be sold individually as well. There are three major locations where Primal Fire can be farmed, which I will go over here.
