The Etobicoke School of the Arts (ESA) is a specialized public arts-academic high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located in Etobicoke , it has been housed in the former Royal York Collegiate Institute facility since 1983.
The Etobicoke School of the Arts (ESA) is an arts-focused non-semestered high school located in Toronto, Canada. Founded on September 8, 1981, we have the distinction of being the oldest, free standing arts-focused high school in Canada. We are auditioned-based. Students from across the city can apply for consideration.
Etobicoke School of the Arts is very well known in North America and Europe. In May 2010, the Fraser Institute named ESA the top academic school in the GTA. Our students also excelled on the Provincial Grade 10 Literacy Test and on the Grade 9 EQAO Results. Special Interest Programs.
Etobicoke School of the Arts is the oldest and most established high school for the arts in Canada. Established in 1981, it trains students in six arts disciplines: Visual Art, Drama, Dance, Instrumental Music, Film, and Music Theatre, along with a robust academic program and extensive extra-curricular activities.
