Horace Panter (born Stephen Graham Panter, 30 August 1953) also known as Sir Horace Gentleman, is the bassist for the British 2 Tone ska band The Specials.

After the Specials split in 1981, Panter served time with the Special AKA and General Public, but later retrained as a teacher of children with special needs, which helped him rediscover his love of art.
