Paul Gildea (born November 1957) is an Australian musician, music educator and talent manager. He is best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist for the band Icehouse . Early life. Gildea was born in Coburg, Victoria in November 1957, [citation needed] one of four children.

Born in London 1956, Paul went to Dulwich College, Camberwell Art and Crafts School, and Hornsey Art School / Middlesex Polytechnic, graduating in 1979 with BA (Hons) fine Art. He has been working since 1984 as part-time tutor of life drawing and painting at Kensington & Chelsea College in London.
