Aaron Elliott (born May 20, 1968), better known as Aaron Cometbus, is an American musician, author, songwriter, roadie, and magazine editor, best known as the creator of the punk zine Cometbus.
31. Mai 2015 · Aaron Cometbus began creating zines with teenage friend Jesse Michaels in the 1980s. These early zines, now lost, lead to the publishing of Cometbus. Aaron Cometbus' writing captures a slice of life in Oakland and Berkeley, California from the late 1980s through the 1990s.
Born along bold, black-and-white lines in Berkeley, CA in 1968, Aaron Cometbus began publishing Cometbus at age 13, months before Maximum Rocknroll got off the ground in 1981. A few years later, Aaron participated in the Gilman Street Project and started his band Crimpshrine.
