Es wurde 2002 auf Bacons Solo-Album From The Banks Of The River Irwell veröffentlicht. Dusty Road (ursprünglich unter dem Titel Burning Chrome), eine Downes/Bacon-Komposition, entstand ebenfalls im Umfeld der Rain-Sessions.
2002 erschien Bacons zweites Solo-Album From The Banks Of The River Irwell. Sechs der Stücke auf diesem Album entstammten noch der Zusammenarbeit mit Downes im Rain -Projekt von 1987/88, außerdem sind musikalische Beiträge von Scott Gorham, Mike Oldfield, Michael Sturgis und Phil Spalding zu hören.

One or two tracks are pretty unmemorable ‘Take No Prisoners’ and ‘Hold Me Close’. ‘Get It Right This Time’ is a guitar led piece of melodic rock. Closer, ‘Breakout’ is the heaviest track on the album and sounds like Brit rockers Shy. A fine way to end the album. A fine resume of Max Bacon’s work since 1989.
