The first known collaborations by Paul "Huge" Tobias and childhood friend Axl Rose can be traced back to 1984 and the formation of Hollywood Rose. The band's demo tape featured two songs co-written by Rose and Tobias; Shadow of Your Love and Back Off Bitch. In 1985, Rose moved on to form Guns N' Roses.
