Derek Leckenby was the lead guitarist of the British pop group Herman's Hermits, who had hits like 'I'm Into Something Good' and 'Mrs Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter'. He died in 1994 after a long career of touring the world with the band, despite his illness and the departure of the original singer Peter Noone.
