Scott Reagers is a vocalist best known as the original singer for Saint Vitus. In stark contrast to later vocalist Wino and his baritone, Reagers' vocals range from operatic highs to menacing snarls, evoking a wide range and distinctive tone. He would contribute to four Saint Vitus albums and sing for the band on and off in his career, currently wi...

Reagers would join Tyrant in 1978, which would later become Saint Vitus in 1979. He would lend his voice to the eponymous Saint Vitus released in 1984. Saint Vitus would tour heavily with punk bands and though hated at first would eventually gain the respect of a punk audience in the early 1980s. Notably they toured with SST stalwarts Black Flag frequently in those days, harboring influence to each other.

Reagers would also sing on the band's second album and first EP in 1985's Hallow's Victim and The Walking Dead, respectively. However the constant touring would wear on him and he would leave the band following a North American tour in 1985. He would meet Scott Weinrich in Maryland that year and suggest he move to California and replace him as vocalist, to which he would. Reagers would quit music to concentrate on family. Reagers notably co-wrote the title track to the band's third album Born Too Late and allegedly there's a recorded version of the album with his vocals though no demos of any sort have surfaced. Reagers also sang on a track "Look Behind You" for The Blasting Concept Volume II and some have suspected that recording was part of those sessions.

In 1994 Reagers would re-join the band when Dave Chandler proposed a final album (at the time) and a tour of Europe in support. The band would go to Germany to record this album in 1994, performing one live show to shoot for a music video. In 1995 Die Healing would be released and though ignored by critics at the time would be universally praised in the years since it's release. The band would do a short tour and Saint Vitus would disband in 1996.

Saint Vitus would reunite in 2003 and 2008 with Wino on vocals. Reagers didn't participate in any of the reunions but would appear as a guest to sing "Burial At Sea" and "Born Too Late" at the Ultra Violet Lounge on 28 January 2010. Reagers would officially re-join the band in 2015 for a tour of Europe entitled The Return of The Walking Dead, his first full shows and tour with the band in nearly 20 years. Saint Vitus would tour North America and Europe, slowly working towards a new album. On 17 May 2019 the band's ninth album Saint Vitus would see release via Season of Mist. It would be the band's first album in seven years and Reagers' first appearance on a Vitus album in twenty-four.
