2. Sept. 2022 · Netflix/A+E I Am a Killer Docuseries: Documentary with death row inmates give first hand accounts of their crimes. Episode 6: David Cameron Keith. Once again, didn’t see an official thread for this episode or case so just wanted to create a place to discuss if anyone wants to.
20. Sept. 2022 · The guy is a cold, narcissistic psychopath. He obviously feels at this stage of his sentence honesty is the best policy for release. That's a double edged sword, because while it suggests he's a changed man, he also shows his true personality of a remorseless killer. "If I could fake tears, I would, but I cant". Yup.
Keith David has a wonderful sense of humor. That's also why he's in the Saints Row series, and in Saints Row IV as Vice President Keith David himself. Guess vivzie has friends on the other side. They also have Jason Statham, an animated story about a rehabilitation hotel is no where I pictured seeing him.
29. Apr. 2024 · For some reason, I thought Keith David had died earlier this year, and I'm very happy to find out I was wrong. You’re thinking of Lance Reddick, previous voice actor for Captain Zavala in Destiny. Keith David replaced Reddick following his passing. There’s absolutely no better choice than Keith as Reddick’s successor.
6. Juni 2024 · FullMatino. •. Keith David is doing a good job under very tough circumstances. It will sound weird for a while, and frankly Zavala’s writing kind of all over the place with some pretty iffy tonal shifts, so it’s a double whammy of a guy who doesn’t sound quite right voicing a character who doesn’t sound quite right.
James Earl Jones played the most iconic character without questions, but Keith David's larger body of work, especially in the video games industry, makes him much more familiar to me. I agree with your second point. I'd say that while James Earl Jones is more Iconic, Keith David is more Recognizable.

I even made a Facebook post saying "RIP Vice President Keith David" (because I played saints row) and a few people commented. Now the post is gone. I messaged a friend who I remembered commented, he confirmed since he also got the joke and also remembered him dying. He thought I must have deleted it and then saw he was still alive and was weirded out but wrote it off as misremembering.

Now there's someone who knows how to pick a great voice actor. Keith David was the voice of Todd McFarlane's Spawn HBO series. It's a shame it ended before it could be finished. Pretty sure that guy voiced Keith David in Saints Row IV.
