Patrick Dangerfield (born 5 April 1990) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Adelaide Football Club from 2008 to 2015. He has served as Geelong captain since the 2023 season.
Patrick Dangerfield is a midfielder for the Geelong Cats in the AFL. He averaged over 20 disposals and six clearances in his first season as captain, but played only 18 games due to injuries.
25. Juni 2024 · Geelong captain Patrick Dangerfield successfully appealed his one-match suspension for a dangerous tackle on Carlton's Sam Walsh at the AFL Tribunal. He argued he acted reasonably and with care, despite pinning both of Walsh's arms and causing his head to hit the ground.
