John Graham Hope Horsley de la Poer Beresford, 5th Baron Decies PC (5 December 1866 – 31 January 1944), styled The Hon. John Beresford until 1910, was an Anglo-Irish army officer, civil servant, and polo player in the 1900 Summer Olympics.
Baron Decies, of Decies in the County of Waterford, is a title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created in 1812 for the Right Reverend William Beresford , Archbishop of Tuam from 1794 to 1819. He was the third son of Marcus Beresford, 1st Earl of Tyrone , and the younger brother of George Beresford, 1st Marquess of Waterford .
Listed in Olympian Members of the Nobility (The Honourable (thru 1910), 5th Baron Decies of Decies (after 1910)) Errata. Previously misidentified as one John George Beresford, born 10 June 1847 in Dover, Kent and died 8 May 1925 in Washington, District of Columbia.
