Hasely Joachim Crawford TC, OLY (born 16 August 1950) is a former track and field athlete from Trinidad and Tobago. In 1976, he became his country's first Olympic champion. [1] Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, was renamed in his honour in 2001.
Hasely CRAWFORD won the 100 m in 1976, beating Don Quarrie of Jamaica by 0.02 seconds. He also competed in the 200 m and the 1972 Olympics, where he injured himself and did not finish.
