Nafissatou "Nafi" Thiam (French pronunciation:; born 19 August 1994) is a Belgian athlete specialising in multi-event competition. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, winning the heptathlon event at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Nafissatou Thiam has always been drawn to multi-sport track and field events. The Belgian ace started practising heptathlon at seven before winning her first national age group title at 15. At the Rio 2016 Olympics, she became the youngest heptathlon gold medalist ever, at just 21.

5. Aug. 2021 · The Belgian athlete defended her title from Rio 2016 and became the second woman to achieve the feat since Jackie Joyner-Kersee. She beat the Dutch duo of Anouk Vetter and Emma Oosterwegel in the seven-event competition.
