Christine Goitschel ist die ältere Schwester von Marielle Goitschel (* 1945). Ihre größten Erfolge feierte sie bei den Olympischen Spielen 1964 in Innsbruck. Sie wurde vor ihrer Schwester Marielle Olympiasiegerin im Slalom. Im Riesenslalom gewann sie hinter ihrer Schwester und zeitgleich mit der US-Amerikanerin Jean Saubert die Silbermedaille.

Christine Béranger-Goitschel, née le 9 juin 1944 à Sainte-Maxime, Var, est une skieuse alpine française originaire de Val-d'Isère.
Christine Béranger-Goitschel (born 9 June 1944) is a former French alpine skier. She is the elder sister of fellow champion skier Marielle Goitschel and the aunt of the former speed skier Philippe Goitschel. Her sister Patricia was a national junior champion in the slalom in 1964.
Christine Goitschel est une skieuse alpine française, sœur de Marielle Goitschel, qui a remporté deux médailles d'or et deux médailles d'argent aux Jeux olympiques de 1964. Elle a aussi gagné une médaille d'or et une médaille d'argent aux Championnats du monde de 1964 et une victoire en Coupe du monde de géant.
Christine Goitschel was a gold medalist in slalom and a silver medalist in giant slalom at the 1964 Winter Olympics. She also won the giant slalom at the 1964 World Championships and co-founded the ski resort of Val Thorens with her husband.
Christine Goitschel recorded the second best time of the first run, only lying 76 hundredths behind her sister Marielle. Christine prevailed in the second run and earned the gold medal, while Marielle took the silver medal.
3. Feb. 2020 · Le 3 février 1964 lors des IXe Jeux Olympiques d'hiver à Innsbruck, les sœurs Goitschel signent un exploit retentissant. Après le doublé Christine-Marielle en slalom, les deux Françaises nées en 1944 et 1945 remettent ça dans le slalom géant, mais dans l'ordre inverse : Marielle devance Christine.
