Since appearing on Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2011, Camp's work has been profiled in virtually every major American media outlet.
A collaboration between director Dean Fleischer Camp and Jenny Slate (who lends Marcel his teeny, little voice), the anthropomorphic mollusk made his debut on YouTube in 2010 in the docu-style short film, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. That video currently has more than 32 million views.
