When a family is held hostage, former hostage negotiator Jeff Talley arrives at the scene. Talley's own family is kidnapped and Talley must decide which is more important: saving a family he doesn't even know or saving his own family.
The film stars Bruce Willis, who co-produced the film, as the police chief who takes place as the negotiator when the family of a wealthy accountant is held hostage by three teenagers. The film earned negative reviews from critics and becoming a box-office bomb , grossing $77 million against its $75 million budget.
