A Time to Sing is a 1968 American drama film directed by Arthur Dreifuss and starring Hank Williams Jr. and Shelley Fabares. The film was originally known as The Hank Williams Jr Story. It was Fabares' fourth film for MGM.
Two of Grady's friends, Luke Harper, Kermit's hired hand, and Amy Carter, the daughter of the town's wealthiest man, conspire to induce Grady to perform at a jamboree. Upon seeing his nephew on a stage, Uncle Kermit has a mild heart attack and is hospitalized.
