Apocalypse Now Redux is a 2001 American extended version of Francis Ford Coppola's epic 1979 war film Apocalypse Now. Coppola, along with editor and longtime collaborator Walter Murch, added 49 minutes of material that had been removed from the initial theatrical release. It is a significant re-edit of the original version.
Für Apocalypse Now: Redux wurde der Film komplett neu synchronisiert. Diese Fassung entstand im Filmstudio Babelsberg unter der Regie von Andreas Fröhlich nach dem Dialogbuch von Alexander Löwe. Außer Christian Brückner in der Rolle des Captain Willard wurden alle anderen Rollen neu besetzt.

Apocalypse Now Redux ist heute auf Platz 1885 in den täglichen JustWatch Streaming-Charts. Der Film ist seit gestern in den Charts 1038 Plätze nach oben gerückt. In Deutschland ist er derzeit beliebter als The Book of Eli, aber weniger beliebt als The Foreigner.
