Ambrose tricks his wife by leading her to a roller coaster, when she is seated, Ambrose runs off towards the beach to change. Meanwhile, the neighbor's wife is already on the beach, while unbeknownst to her, her husband is in Ambrose home playing cards with the maid. Comedy ensues.
Another in Mack Swain's long-running but now-forgotten series of Ambrose shorts in which he plays a henpecked husband. He is trying to get away from his shrewish wife (Alice Davenport) to enjoy a day at the beach with cute neighbour Louise Fazenda, but his plans go awry when his wife decides to tag along.
