A Tex Avery classic from MGM mercifully free of racism. ‘Cellbound’ stars an Irish dog who is imprisioned for life, working twenty years to dig himself out of jail. There are only three speaking roles in the cartoon, the dog, the prison warden, and the warden’s wife.
