Buddy Gene Emmons (January 27, 1937 – July 21, 2015) was an American musician who is widely regarded as the world's foremost pedal steel guitarist of his day. He was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1981.
Buddy Gene Emmons war ein US-amerikanischer Pedal-Steel-Gitarrist. It is nearly impossible to exaggerate the sphere of influence that virtuoso Buddy Emmons (1937-2015) has had on the world of the steel guitar. Since his arrival on the scene as an 18 year-old debuting at the Grand Ole Opry he has been the standard bearer of excellence.
