She submitted her resignation from the post on 30 August 2022 and ended her functions on 10 September 2022.

Marta Temido was also member of the advisory board of the Grupo de Ativistas pelo Tratamento (GAT) and of the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She taught in several health institutions and is the author and co-author of scientific publications on health.
