Opechancanough (* vermutlich in zweiter Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts; † um 1644 oder 1646) war Häuptling der Pamunkey-Indianer und später Häuptling der Powhatan-Konföderation. Er war der Bruder oder Halbbruder von Wahunsonacock (besser bekannt als Powhatan).
Opechancanough (/ oʊ p ə ˈ tʃ æ n k ə n oʊ / oh-pə-CHAN-kə-noh; 1554–1646) was paramount chief of the Powhatan Confederacy in present-day Virginia from 1618 until his death. He had been a leader in the confederacy formed by his older brother Powhatan , from whom he inherited the paramountcy.

He was the younger brother (or cousin) of Powhatan, the paramount chief famous for his relations with the English at the time of their arrival in Virginia in 1607.

Opechancanough, a Powhatan chief and brother of Chief Powhatan, is thought to have been born in about 1552. His name meant “He whose Soul is White” in the Algonquian language. Upon his brother’s death in 1618, he took control of the Powhatan Confederacy.
