Isabel Schnabel (geb. Gödde; * 9. August 1971 in Dortmund) ist eine deutsche Wirtschaftswissenschaftlerin. Seit 2020 ist sie Mitglied des Direktoriums der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB) sowie seit 2015 Professorin für Finanzmarktökonomie an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.
Isabel Schnabel is a professor of financial economics and a member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank since 2020. She has a PhD in economics from the University of Mannheim and has published extensively on banking, international finance, economic history and financial law and economics.
