Otac Dragan i majka Evica bavili su se poljoprivredom. Mile je bio drugo od petero djece. Nakon osnovne škole otišao je u Borovo gdje je pohađao srednju školu.
The Accused, Mile Mrkšić, Miroslav Radić and Veselin Šljivančanin, are charged in the Indictment with crimes allegedly committed on or about 18 to 21 November 1991 against Croats and other non-Serbs who were present in the Vukovar hospital after the fall of Vukovar.
