Im Prozess der 193 von Oktober 1877 bis Januar 1878 wurde sie zu 5 Jahren Katorga unter Anrechnung ihrer bisherigen Gefängnishaftzeit mit anschließender Verbannung verurteilt. [1] [3] 1878 kam Breschko-Breschkowskaja in das Katorga-Lager an der Kara, einem Nebenfluss der Schilka in Ostsibirien.

Catherine Breshkovsky (real name Yekaterina Konstantinovna Breshko-Breshkovskaya) is known as the grandmother of the Russian revolution. Disappointed with the tsarist government, she became an active member of the Narodnik movement. For her revolutionary activities, she was sent into exile twice, having spent a total of 22 years in exile.
