Alvin Victor "Honest Vic" Donahey (7 July 1873-8 April 1946) was the Democratic Governor of Ohio from 8 January 1923 to 14 January 1929 (succeeding Harry L. Davis and preceding Myers Y. Cooper) and a US Senator from 3 January 1935 to 3 January 1941 (succeeding Simeon D. Fess and preceding Harold H. Burton ).

From 1905 through 1909 he was the auditor of Tuscarawas County, and from 1902 to 1911 he was a member of the New Philadelphia Board of Education. In 1912 he served as a delegate to the Fourth Ohio Constitutional Convention and won election as State Auditor, serving until 1921.
The 1920 Ohio gubernatorial election was held on November 2, 1920. Republican nominee Harry L. Davis defeated Democratic nominee A. Victor Donahey with 51.91% of the vote.
