Rosario Crocetta (born 8 February 1951) is an Italian politician. He was the first openly gay mayor in Italy when he became Mayor of Gela in 2003, a post he held until 2009. A prominent figure in the fight against the Sicilian Mafia, in 2009 he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP).
Rosario Crocetta (Gela, 8 febbraio 1951) è un ex politico italiano, presidente della Regione Siciliana dal 2012 al 2017. Dal 2009 al 2012 è stato deputato al Parlamento europeo (MEP). È stato inoltre sindaco di Gela dal 2003 al 2009. Dal 2013 al 2017 è stato anche membro del Comitato delle regioni.
