Alexander Salkind ( / ˈsælkaɪnd /; 2 June 1921 – 8 March 1997) was a Polish-born French film producer, the second of three generations of successful international producers. [1] [2] Life and career. Salkind was born in the Free City of Danzig to Russian-born Jewish parents, [3] Maria and Mikhail Salkind (later Miguel Salkind).
