Philip Howard, 13th Earl of Arundel (28 June 1557 – 19 October 1595) was an English nobleman. He was canonised by Pope Paul VI in 1970, as one of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales.
Sein Sohn Philip Howard, 20. Earl of Arundel , wurde deshalb von Elisabeth I. von 1584 bis zu seinem Tod 1595 im Tower of London eingesperrt; später wurde er als Märtyrer anerkannt und ist seit 1970 ein Heiliger der katholischen Kirche.

The north aisle leads into the North Transept, where the relics of the martyr Earl of Arundel, St. Philip Howard (1557-1595) rest in a special shrine. This thirteenth Earl, of whom the present Duke of Norfolk is a lineal descendant, was born on 28 th June 1557.
